Here at Beyond The Trauma (BTT for short) we strive to make this organization incredibly collaborative in many different ways and we want this organization to be an outlet for not only sexual assault survivors but also people wanting to learn more about the statistics and the harm that sexual assault can do to people.

Beyond the Trauma is focusing on making an impact on the world one step at a time, beginning with statistics, we think it's important for people to know the statistics of our cause before they turn it away, the statistics are also for the sexual assault survivors themselves to know they are not alone, people are here and many people go through similar things.

Transforming Minds
Did you know that in 2019 406,970 women were raped or sexually assaulted? while the number of men was 52,336? 237,868 of those victims of rape or sexual assault each year are Americans. That's a lot of people, and a lot of victims of trauma.

Beyond the Trauma is dedicated to putting our community first. Our Community Outreach program provides a much-needed service for those in need, even if it's just to talk to someone for a while about your issues, we are here.

FROM IDEA TO REALITY: THE HISTORY OF THE IDEA
Many people including people helping to create this cause have suffered through at least one form of sexual assault (i.e. Rape, Molestation, etc) this organization was designed by survivors and victims of these crimes.

OUR GOAL
Our goal in creating this organization is to give people like us a voice to use, and an outlet to use it, we want people like us who suffered from these crimes to be able to speak up for themselves and regain what we lost when we were taken advantage of.
